Little Singer/Songwriter
Since we purchased a ukelele recently, Madelyn's songwriting skills have blossomed. Here you can see her impromptu response to my performance of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." There were several initial verses (Clara sleeps tonight, Mommy sleeps tonight, Mommy wakes up in the night...) that I didn't catch on video. However, this shout-out to her cousin Jack and friend Lila is still pretty enjoyable.
I must say that I'm pretty proud of her strumming rhythms!

A Day at the Park
Thankfully, the snow is finally beginning to melt! However, the blanket of white stuff is still the predominant feature of the landscape. The other morning the weather was too beautiful to stay inside, so the girls and I took a walk over to the park (the same one where we've had Madelyn's birthday parties). As Tyler said, it's as if the ground has been raised about three and a half feet. Madelyn had a ball, but I don't think we'll be seeing grass anytime soon...
