Vocabulary List

Madelyn's vocabulary has been expanding by leaps and bounds in the past few months.  I thought it would be worthwhile to document all of her words so far.  Some of these words might not be intelligible to the general public, but she uses them on a regular basis, and Tyler and I understand them.  So, here as a list, by no means exhaustive, of the things Madelyn (at 19 mos.) talks about all day.

Spring!

Over the fall and winter, our city created a new park in an empty lot just behind our house. Recently, we walked over and enjoyed the first fruits of this lovely little space.

Day in Charlotte

On our way back up to New England, we spent a day in Charlotte, NC with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Tyler.  We had a great time playing outside, playing inside, and just being out of the car for a while! We love our family and were thankful to spend time with them on our trip.

Hilton Head

After our time in Harlem (Georgia, that is), we drove to the coast and spent a few days on Hilton Head Island. It was wonderful to see the sun and feel the warm air after a long winter in Boston. Madelyn had a great time playing on the beach, taking her first bike ride, and eating seafood.

Trip to Georgia

During Spring break, we took a road trip down south to visit family and enjoy some rest and relaxation.   We spent our first main leg of the trip in Georgia visiting Tyler's parents and attending the Masters' Golf Tournament.
