Apple Picking

Each fall in New England, it is tradition to go apple picking, and we were determined to participate again this year.  So, we packed the girls in the van and made the drive up to Applecrest Farm Orchards, the oldest and largest apple orchard in  New Hampshire, and the oldest continuously running apple orchard in the country.  Together with good friends, we braved wet, chilly weather and went home with full bellies, fun memories, and a half bushel of delicious apples.

Family Getaway

After grandparents had to go back home, Tyler took a couple of weeks off of work so we could adjust to being a family of four.  During that time, we spent a few days in a cabin at a beautiful camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.  The weather was somewhat cold and dreary, but we enjoyed having time to relax, play, and be together.

Grandparents

Our girls are blessed with loving, giving grandparents who are willing to make the trek to Boston often.  We are thankful that, although many states separate us geographically, our family relationships are close.
