Grandparent Visit

A few weeks ago, Grandma and Grandpa came to spend a week with us.  They had a wonderful time playing with and loving on Madelyn.  Here are a few snapshots of their quality time together.

Mother's Day

On the second Sunday of May, I celebrated my first Mother's day as both daughter and mother.

The day was especially sweet because I got to share it with my mom.

What a treat it was to have three generations together!

I like to eat, eat, eat...

apples and bananas!  I also enjoy carrots and sweet potatoes.  I'm still not sure about green beans, but looking forward to trying avocado and pears next!

Piano Recital

Spring is the season of budding flowers, rising temperatures, and, if you teach music lessons, end-of-the-year recitals.  A few weeks ago, some of my piano students shared their progress and achievements with friends and family.  I am so proud of these young musicians and their good work this year!
