Leading Up to the Big Day

Since our last post, life at the Holley house has changed significantly, so we thought we'd bring you up to speed on a few things before sharing our big news.

Amanda recently reached the big 3-0.  With Baby Holley's birth on the horizon, we chose to have a low-key celebration -- lunch at Mr. Crepe, a quiet afternoon, and then a lovely dinner at home, prepared by Tyler.  To finish off the day, we enjoyed Amanda's favorite dessert, key lime pie, again made by Tyler.

Amanda's mom came into town a few days later, eagerly anticipating Baby Girl's arrival.  On Sunday the 16th, we decided to have a little photo shoot after church, to document week 39 of pregnancy.

Nine Months

In the grand scheme of things, nine months can seem like a fairly inconsequential length of time. However, in our home, the past nine months have brought the promise of major life changes, as we have prepared for the birth of our first child.  Since our baby girl could be arriving anytime, we thought we would take you on a brief photo journey of one of the most visible (although temporary) changes for us -- Amanda's profile!

6 weeks -- Our trip to D.C.  during Mid-Winter Break in February

17 Weeks -- Just a little bump

28 weeks -- Celebrating upcoming births with cousins at St. Simon's Island

32 Weeks -- All dressed up at a friend's wedding

36 Weeks -- Mom and baby keep growing!
